This is the bracket that is bolted onto the floor pan under the rear seat area when using dual exhaust.
The factory welded the one side to the floor pan as all were produced with single or dual exhaust used the bolt on one, when a car was built with dual exhaust the factory drilled out the pre pressed in nibs in the floor pan and used this bracket which is what the rubber hanger strap is bolted to.
If you are converting a single exhaust A Body to duals you will need this bracket to bolt your rubber hanger to. Easy to install
